A supported <Connect><Stream> session opens a blocking bidirectional media connection between the call and your platform.

Supported <Start><Stream> and <Stop><Stream> open and close a one-way, non-blocking media session while the call continues.
Call creation and control
Create and control calls through the Calls API and OneML, using documented request patterns.
Input capture
Gather supports DTMF, speech or both, and returns the supported results to your application.
Recordings and call records
Retain recordings where enabled and review the call records for each interaction.

Dial can bridge a call to supported number destinations when a conversation should reach a person.

Supported destinations and verb behaviour are documented publicly and should be checked before design. In particular, <Dial><Sip> is restricted to registered extensions within the caller’s own tenant, so arbitrary external SIP targets cannot be dialled through OneML.
Local number access
Reach people on numbers they recognise.
Agents call from familiar Nigerian mobile numbers rather than unfamiliar formats, and can receive inbound calls on the same numbers.
Numbers supplied by different Nigerian providers can be purchased and managed in one Signals account, and you choose which number you own is used as the originating number for an outbound call.
Originating-number selection is a customer decision. Signals does not perform automatic failover between numbers or providers.
