Why Signals SIP Access
Your SIP trunk should give you more than a route to the telephone network.
A conventional SIP trunk may be enough when all you need is inbound and outbound connectivity. Signals SIP Access is built for teams that also need familiar Nigerian mobile numbers, operational visibility, number choice and one managed infrastructure platform.
A conventional SIP trunk may provide
- Inbound and outbound connectivity.
- The provider’s available number inventory.
- Call-detail records and usage reports.
- A provider-specific account and support process.
Signals SIP Access adds
- Familiar Nigerian mobile numbers.
- Numbers from different Nigerian providers managed in one account.
- Control over the originating number used for outbound calls.
- Transparent call logs, usage and billing.
- Real-time network-performance visibility.
- Programmable Voice and Automations on the same platform.
How it works
From SIP configuration to production traffic.
- 01Review your architecture and workload with the Signals team.
- 02Confirm platform compatibility, traffic profile, numbering and commercials.
- 03Complete the account and KYC requirements for your organisation.
- 04Signals provisions the SIP trunk, credentials, numbers and routing.
- 05Your technical team configures your contact-centre, PBX or voice system.
- 06Run joint testing on controlled traffic with Signals.
- 07Activate production traffic.
- 08Monitor calls, usage and network performance, then expand.
SIP Access is a managed infrastructure service. Signals provisions the SIP trunk, credentials, numbers and routing for your workload after technical discovery and qualification.
Your technical team then configures your own contact-centre platform, PBX, dialler or voice application against that provisioned infrastructure. We test the connection together before production traffic is activated.
Technical discovery is the normal starting point for a SIP workload.

Onboarding
Provisioned by Signals. Configured by your technical team.
Standard SIP provisioning is the normal service and carries no additional fee. It covers the architecture and workload review, trunk setup, credentials, number routing, test support and production activation.
The ₦500,000 per year PressOne Business subscription may be required commercially, but subscribing does not automatically provision or activate a SIP trunk. SIP Access requires technical approval and infrastructure provisioning by Signals.
Optional assisted implementation, where Signals goes further and helps configure, migrate or integrate your own environment, requires either a contractual ₦500,000 monthly call-usage commitment or a ₦1.5 million one-time fee.
