Voice infrastructure
for customer
activation.

Signals turns business events into phone calls. When your system detects that a customer needs to hear from you — a stalled registration, an incomplete verification, a milestone reached — Signals places a personalised, automated call on the one channel Nigerian customers still answer.

What Signals does

Built like infrastructure, because it is.

01

Trigger.

Your systems already know the moment a customer stalls or succeeds. Signals connects to that moment with a single webhook — from your product, your CRM, or your marketing automation. One event, one call. No event pipeline? Upload a list — the upload is the run.

02

Call.

The customer's phone rings. They hear their own name, the reason for the call, and a clear next step — press a key, receive a link, or ask for a person. The call gives; it never collects. No OTPs, no card details, no account numbers — ever.

03

Report.

Every call returns a record: answered or not, how long it lasted, which key was pressed — per user, per step, per day. Not an "open rate" — an answer. Delivered to your dashboard, and to your systems if you want it there.

The channel stance

We are deliberate about what rides on this channel.

A phone call is the most intrusive thing a business can do to a customer. That is precisely why it works — and precisely why it must be governed. Signals is built on a simple conviction: this channel stays powerful only if it is never abused.

What we refuse

Signals does not carry debt collection, payment recovery, or cold outreach to purchased lists. Every call must be tied to a real, existing customer relationship and a real customer event. We decline revenue that would erode the channel — because the day automated calls stop being answered, everyone loses, including our customers.

Governance, enforced by the platform — not by promises:

  • Calling windows are enforced. Signals does not ring customers at night.
  • Frequency guardrails prevent any customer from being called repeatedly, even by a misconfigured trigger.
  • Every recipient can opt out with a single keypress. Opt-outs land on a do-not-call list that is checked before every dispatch — a suppressed call is never placed and never billed.
  • Calls are placed only from caller IDs the business owns.

Security summary

Engineered for scrutiny.

  • Inbound events are authenticated with per-Signal secrets; credentials rotate instantly and old secrets die immediately.
  • Results delivered to your systems are cryptographically signed, retried with backoff, and covered by a delivery audit log.
  • Duplicate events do not create duplicate calls — idempotency is enforced on your event IDs.
  • Telephony callbacks are signature-verified before they touch call state.

Who it's for

For teams accountable for activation.

Signals is built for growth, product, and operations teams at digital businesses where a stalled customer is a measurable loss — fintech and digital wealth platforms, marketplaces, SaaS, and digital health. If your funnel has a step where customers silently disappear, Signals is the mechanism that reaches them there.

About

Signals, by PressOne.

Signals is built and operated by PressOne, the Nigerian business-telephony company. PressOne runs the call infrastructure of Nigerian businesses every day; Signals is that infrastructure, made programmable. We are based in Lagos, we understand this market's relationship with the phone call, and we built Signals to protect it.

PressOne is led by Mayowa Okegbenle, CEO. If you want to understand how we think about this channel, read his essay: Why Nigeria stopped picking your calls →

The infrastructure behind Signals

One product of a working telco.

PressOne operates the infrastructure Nigerian businesses call on every day: SIP trunking, business phone systems, call-centre systems, transactional call OTPs, and telco infrastructure for AI voice platforms. Signals exists because we already run the rails it needs.

If your business needs any of this beyond Signals, tell us which — we'll come back to you.

We use these details only to respond to this request.

When you're ready, we're selective.

Access to Signals is allocated, not sold open. If your team is accountable for activation, request access and tell us about your funnel.
